Ryan is a class A PGA Professional with 7 years’ experience in the industry, born and raised in Newport, Wales. Ryan is an extremely passionate club fitter and golf coach. He enjoys working with golfers on all areas of their game whether this be increasing distance off the tee or dialing in their short game. He is vastly experienced in using Trackman and SAM Puttlab technology and would say that putting instruction and putter fitting is definitely a strong point of his.Prior to this new role Ryan has worked at a number of great facilities in the United Kingdom. One of the more notable roles being as a Teaching Professional and Custom Fitter at the Celtic Manor (host venue of the 2010 Ryder Cup). During his time in this role he worked with golfers at the professional level all the way through to complete new comers to the game. He was also able to work alongside a number of industry leaders in custom fitting and coaching which has really added to his knowledge and understanding of these areas.Prior to joining Celtic Manor Professional team, Ryan worked as an Assistant Professional at Pyle and Kenfig Golf Club which is a links golf course and is listed as the fifth best course in the country annually. During his time there he worked his way through the PGA training program and began to really develop an interest in coaching and club fitting. Other facilities that he has worked at are Southern Trace CC and Southern Arkansas University as part of the coaching staff. Before joining the PGA, Ryan spent a year playing on the development tours throughout the south coast of the United States. Following completion of a Bachelor’s Degree at Clayton State University whilst on a Golf Scholarship. As an amateur he represented his country and was part of the Wales Golf National Team.
